Unity of the Ozarks, has been blessed with a new minister.  Rev. Donald L. Jackson has accepted being part-time minister.  He will be starting July 1st, 2010.

Rev. Don is married to Dorothy Ann, who is also a Unity Minister.  They both served as mininsters at Unity of Sarasota, in Sarasota, Fl.  Rev. Don was their Senior Minister for 21 years.   When he became their minister the church was a struggling inner-city church, and  they could not afford to pay a salary.  The membership of the church was less than one hundred.  When the Jackson's retired in 2007, the membership had grown to 350, and the church is prosperous and growing.

Rev. Don was also a Professor of Psychology/Guidance Counseling, at Inter American University of San German, Puerto Rico.  Where he taught psychology on the under graduate level and Guidance and Counseling on the Graduate level.

After three years of retirement, the Jakson's realize that the pull of ministry is still there, as strong as ever.  Rev. Don's intention now is to utilize his eduation and Ministry skills to serve in a small church on a part-time bases.
